INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS IN ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS (ICYREB 2018)

1. Keynote speakers

Professor Duc Khuong Nguyen

Dr. Duc Khuong Nguyen holds a MSc and a PhD in Finance from the University of Grenoble Alpes (France) and obtains his HDR (Habilitation for Supervising Doctoral Research) in Management Sciences in June 2009. He also completed the "Leaders in Development" program at Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Executive Education (2013). In January 2013, he joined IPAG Business School as Professor of Finance and Deputy Director for Research. Previously, he served as Professor of Finance and Head of the Department of Finance and Information Systems at ISC Paris Business School, as Lecturer at Grenoble Graduate Institute of Business, and as Research and Teaching Assistant at EM Lyon Business School.

Dr. Nguyen is also a Non-Resident Research Fellow at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University, a Visiting Professor at Vietnam National University, Hanoi - International School and was a Research Associate at the Department of Finance, Centre d'Economie de la Sorbonne (CES), University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2011-2015).

Professor Mark Holmes

Professor Mark Holmes is president of the New Zealand of Association of Economists. After receiving his PhD in Economics from the University of Dundee, he was previously employed at the universities of Dundee and Loughborough. His research interests include applied macroeconomics and international finance as well as the behaviour of real estate and energy markets. Recent publications include studies of inflation targeting, productivity, current account sustainability and house price convergence. He has previously served as editor-in-chief of New Zealand Economic Papers.

2. Topics of Interest

Authors are invited to submit papers that fall into or are related to one or multiple topic areas listed below (but not limited to):

-Economics: Development Economics, Investment Economics

-Business Administration: Tourism, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Supply chain

management, Human resource management, Commerce, Foreign trade, etc.

-Accounting-Finance & Banking: Corporate finance, Finance Management, Accounting, Auditing, Banking, etc.

-Business law-State management-Political science

-Statistics & IT in Economics & Business

-Other relating issues

3. Submission Requirements

-Official language: English and Vietnamese

-All submissions must be no more than 5000 words, submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format using the template as attachment. Please ensure the paper is carefully proofread before uploading.

-Submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed, and accepted papers will be included in ICYREB 2018 Proceedings (with an ISBN) and may be selected for presentation.
-Journal of Economic Development, Journal of Economics and Development, Journal of Economic Studies, Journal of Finance and Accounting Research will run a special conference issue, and all presenters at the conference are invited to consider submitting their papers for publication.

4. Key Dates

-Full paper submission deadline: September 10, 2018

-Notification of acceptance: October 5th, 2018

-Registration deadline: October 20, 2018

-Conference date: October 30, 2018

5. Registration Fee

-Author with accepted paper: VND 1,000,000/person

-Other participants: VND 1,500,000/person

-PhD candidate with accepted paper : 50% reduction (only for PhD candidates of Co-Organizers)
-Early Bird Fee (before October 10th 2018) : 25% reduction
