As many as 98 of the best graduates from different universities and academies were honored and given merit certificates, cups and rewards by Hanoi People’s Committee, following a number of the activities such as reporting their ecademic records and special achievements at Uncle Ho Temple in Tan Linh, Ba Vi, Hanoi; building playground for children; exchanging and sharing learning experiences with ethnic minority students and poor students from high schools in Ba Vi. Before that, the graduates had had their names written in Golden books at the Temple of Literature.

98 graduates honored by the Committee are outstanding ones selected from thousands of graduates this year. Among them, many are members of Communist Party of Vietnam; many living in poverty have made their efforts to surmount difficulties in life to achieve such excellent records. Some of the graduates carried out scientific researches with high applicability and won both national and international awards.

Three graduates from Academy of Finance attended the ceremony this year. On behalf of the honored, Hoang Ngoc Anh, a graduate of the Academy of Finance, made a speech at the ceremony.
Over the past 12 years, 1,335 graduates have been honored and given merit certificates by Hanoi People’s Committee. Many of them have established a position in society and contributed to building up the capital city and the country.
