Professional Modern Banking in VietNam (Published 2012)

Welcome to the book. The book is designed as the style presses to assist you in studying banking in English. The lecture is prepared base on the Vietnamese extant banking laws and practices. It supports learners, readers to understand and apply banking principles to the work.

Each chapter is divided into some sections; each section will be subdivided to create new beginnings. It presents content in order: introduction, content, activities and assessment. The provebs is used for arm up or discussions. Case study is points which emphasise or illustrate lessons. They are combined with images, sound and tactile to present knowledge which forms and avoids boredom to learners. "Learning to yse" hich we want 10 achieve from the first release. Students should study in methodical, logical and effective way like only speaking English by using all senses and from anywhere. You only really understand when you can present your knowledge clearly, articulate to others. This book is considered as a cook material, in which the cook process belongs to the teacher. That is the same as burning com, mixing salad from raw materials.

The book contains 10 chapters. Chapter 1 gives the overview of monetary and banking financial market. Chapter 2 provides types of Bank. We will focus on the major activities of a commercial bank in chapter 3, 4, 5 and 6, while chapter 7 explains security transactions in banking. Chapter 8 mentions the role of branch and sub­branch; Chapter 9 and 10 deal with management of commercial banks with real case studies and experience in banking. The name of each chapter is the theme reflecting its contents. It is expected that this volume will be useful as a basic guide for banking operations. This is an open curriculum. Learners easily connected to the Internet. Teachers use presentation software to present, as well as audio software, images easily.We are grateful to the State Bank of Vietnam, commercial banks, Hanoi Academy of Finance and someone for their concern and comments on the book.
