Presenting the Opening session in the morning, Assoc., PhD. Nguyen Trong Co - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Academy of Finance warmly welcomed the participants to the Conference and stated the practical meaning and necessities of the Conference in the inevitable trend of globalization and with the advent of the knowledge economy, innovation, the fourth industrial revolution. In particular, the fourth industrial revolution has made the process of globalization token place diffrently from time to time, has both positive and negative impacts on economy - finance - accounting and social security.

At the Workshop, there are 05 articles of the selected research groups published in the conference proceedings were awarded the Best Paper Award

The International Workshop "Economic development and sustainable business in globalization condition" (SEDBM) is an annual conference, organized by the Academy of Finance, since 2018. With the first year held , Academy of Finance cooperated with the Greenwich University - UK and this year, Academy of Finance cooperated with University of Finance - Marketing to organize. Although in Vietnam, the government has controlled the epidemic situation, until now more than 20 days, Vietnam has not recorded new cases of COVID-19 in the community, the number of imported cases is also scattered, only a few cases were quarantined immediately after entry, but the COVID-19 epidemic has been complicated around the world. This workshop was organized in combination of two forms online and offline, to strictly implement the measures to prevent the COVID-19, while ensuring the plan, objectives and quality of the International Conference.

The seminar confirmed the capacity of the Academy of Finance to organize international seminars as well as the capacities of Vietnamese scientists in general and the Academy of Finance in particular. Moreover, through that, the Academy of Finance affirmed its ability to meet modern infrastructure and technology in organizing activities of scientific research, training as well as online international cooperation.
