The subject "Finance and Monetary" introduces basic theories of finance and money. This document will guide students in their research and expand their understanding of financial and monetary issues. Basic concepts will be explained, such as: money, interest rates, exchange rates; financial markets and financial instruments; financial institutions as well as central bank operations and their relationship with different economic factors... That knowledge will help students understand trends in the financial market, explain fluctuations in interest rates.
