AOF’s potential cooperation opportunities in the context of Covid-19

Implement the goal of international integration according to the development strategy and orientation of the Academy of Finance in the current conditions. By closely following the evaluation standards of international universities (THE, QS World and QS Asia, ARWU, Webometrics) and current Vietnamese accreditation standards as stipulated in Circular 12/2017/TT- BGDDT with the following criteria: Criterion 8.1: International cooperation activities are carried out in accordance with the State's regulations; Criterion 8.2: Effective international cooperation in training activities, reflected in training cooperation programs and academic exchanges; exchange programs of lecturers and learners, activities of visiting, surveying, supporting and upgrading the university's facilities and equipment; Criterion 8.3: Effective international cooperation activities on scientific research, demonstrated through project implementation,cooperation projects on scientific research, technology development, programs to apply scientific and technological research results into practice, organization of joint scientific conferences and seminars, publication of scientific works shared.

Despite being affected by the Covid 19 pandemic, the International Collaboration Department is still actively seeking, expanding partners and exchanging new cooperation opportunities.

On September 7, 2021, the IInternational Collaboration Department had a meeting via zoom with University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia, link: https://utar.edu.my/ , QS World University Ranking 801- 1000, QS University Rankings Asia 157;The World University Rankings 2021 Asian 119.

  On October 4, 2021, the International Collaboration Department has a program to work with the University of Eastern Finland (Finland), link: https://www.uef.fi/fi/ .

            The goal after the working sessions is to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two parties, focusing on the following basic contents:

            About Lecturers, Researchers : research cooperation - prestigious international publication; participating in visiting Lecturers; cooperate to participate in professional seminars and conferences together. Method of implementation: online/offline.

            Regarding Students : Program to bring students (outbound) and program to receive students (inbound) on soft skill content; business visits, historical sites; Cultural exchange…

            For Universities: strengthen mutual communication; share the university's information (logo, web link) to each other... As well as towards mutual presence and jointly organize training and retraining classes.
