The closing ceremony of the 55th cohort: Affirming the brand of the Academy of Finance
(AOF)- On the morning of August 16, from the head office 58 Le Van Hien, the closing ceremony was held online by the Academy of Finance, connecting with thousands of students, delegates and parents. 2,992 new bachelors were recognized for graduation, of which 137 students achieved excellent grades (accounting for 4.58%); 854 students got very good grade (accounting for 28.54%), 1,972 students got good grade (65.91%) and 29 students got average grade (accounting for 0.97%). 748 students with good achievements in study and training for the whole course were rewarded for the whole course and 11 students won the title of valedictorian.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc., PhD. Nguyen Trong Co - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Academy of Finance congratulated the new graduates of 55th cohort and shared his feelings and emotions filled with love and deep sympathy as well as regret for the new graduates when teachers and students had to hold the closing ceremony but separated because of the epidemic.

At the ceremony, Assoc., Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thach – Head of the Training Management Department announced the Decision on recognition of graduation and the summary report on the learning results of the 55th course. The report clearly states the results achieved through the process. 4 years of full-time students of course 55th – the 10th cohort is trained according to the credit system of the Academy of Finance. The course has 6 majors, 21 majors in the standard program and 2 majors in the advanced education program. Up to now, there are 2,992 students eligible to graduate, of which 137 students achieved excellent grades (accounting for 4.58%); 854 students got very good grade (accounting for 28.54%), 1,972 students got good grade (65.91%) and 29 students got average grade (accounting for 0.97%).

Dr. Luu Huu Duc - Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Students announced the decisions to reward the whole course for students of 55th cohort. Accordingly, 750 students were rewarded for the entire course (including 38 students with the title of Excellent, 523 students with the title of Very good, 189 students with the title of Good); 11 students were awarded the title of valedictorian; 57 students were rewarded for their scientific research achievements of the whole course; 71 students were rewarded for their achievements in Union - Association activities of the whole course.

The ceremony took special moments to honor the new graduates who were the valedictorians and were awarded for the whole course.
On behalf of the new bachelors, Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, class CQ55/11.12, Faculty of Corporate Finance expressed her deep gratitude to all staff, lecturers and parents who have always companioned so that every new graduate can get what it is today. Ms Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang shared her feelings and memories of 4 years of university with the choice of the Academy of Finance and affirmed that this was a wise and right choice.

Also at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem, member of the Board of Directors, General Director of SACCOMBANK; Ms. Nguyen Mai Ly- Bao Viet Life Corporation; Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy - General Director of MISA Joint Stock Company, alumnus of the Academy of Finance representing businesses and partners shared their good feelings for AoF as well as high appreciation for the trained students from the Academy. Accordingly, this is a human resource with good professional expertise, hard work, creativity, inquisitive spirit and honesty and seriousness in work. Organizations and businesses always want to cooperate to recruit human resources trained by the Academy.

This closing ceremony is the most special among 55 courses held by HVTC for nearly 60 years. For the first time, the ceremony was held without a face-to-face meeting between teachers and students, between students to say goodbye…. From all parts of the country, new graduates connected to meet and attend the ceremony with teachers and delegates through a digital technology platform. This also proves the highest adaptation, the most suitable and quick choice of AOF to the complicated situation of the COVID-19 epidemic. Online organizing methods have been implemented by the Academy since February 2020 when the COVID-19 epidemic broke out to ensure that training, scientific research and international cooperation activities take place normally. The new graduates today as well as the next generation of students are always trained by the Academy with both the knowledge and skills to best adapt to all conditions of reality to study, work and succeed.
