Academy of Finance’s representatives: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Co – AOF President; Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung, Chairman of the Academic Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Thuy – AOF Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Viet – AOF Vice President and other heads of AOF’s faculties/ departments.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Thuy mentioned the close relationship between training institutions, the Academy of Finance in particular, and businesses in support and training of human resources. In which, one is a trainer and the other is the user of human resource. Over the years, partners and businesses have always accompanied the AOF in such process, generations of students have been able to do practices at these organizations and have received supports, training courses, scholarship in their studies and training as well as academic support due to difficult circumstances. In return, many students worked for these businesses after graduating from AOF and achieved great success in their careers. Ms. Truong Thi Thuy also show expect that, in the coming time, the cooperation relationship between the Academy of Finance and Agribank would be strongly promoted, towards training high-quality human resource with career guidance according to the needs of society and of Agribank, aiming to light up the future and inspire students’ dreams.

Also at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Deputy General Director of Agribank shared about the strong development process of the bank. Accordingly, Agribank was a state-owned commercial bank that played a key role in the banking system of Vietnam, they were always promoting their pioneering and exemplary role in leading credit systems to seriously and effectively implement national monetary policy, the Party and State’s policies on money and banking, especially credit policy, serving agricultural and rural development, making an important contribution to macroeconomic stability, promote growth, ensure social security, and make an important contribution to the eradication of poverty and hunger, promote the process of agricultural restructuring, and renew the construction of new rural areas of the country. Mr. Nguyen Hai Long also affirmed that, in the process of construction and development, there are many generations of leaders and staff who had graduated from AOF, making substantial contributions to the development of Agribank and looking forward to the future. With the signing of this cooperation agreement, it would be a foundation for a close bond between the two sides. Agribank would provide diversified financial services to staff and students of the AOF and coordinate in training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. Mr. Nguyen Hai Long affirmed to use the best resources to fulfill the commitment.

Dr. Luu Huu Duc - Head of Political & Student Affairs, Secretary of Youth Union, Director of Center for Innovations and Startup Supports approved the major contents of the cooperation agreement in the following areas: Training; Use of human resources and implementing the scholarship programs. Accordingly, Agribank would receive and create favorable conditions for students of the AOF to practice professional skills at the bank; Agribank would appoint qualified and experienced staff and experts to report on a number of topics on expertise, soft skills, and start-up skills for students and provide guidance on practice and graduation internship; Exchange information about job vacancies and requirements; Agribank would coordinate with AOF throughout the training process and provide a number of scholarships for excellent students ...

At the ceremony, with the witness of delegates and representatives, Academy of Finance and Agribank signed the MOU.

These were initial activities setting up long-term cooperation relationship in many fields between the Academy of Finance and Agribank.
