Functions
The Information Technology Center has the function to manage overall information and technology matters of the academy such as: provide and disseminate official information via a portal; give advisory about application and development of IT for the benefits of academic management, training and research.
Responsibilities
Make long-term and short-term plans regarding application of IT to academic management, training and research of the academy.
Deploy information technology packages when approved by the president.
Manage information system of the academy including: Intranet and Internet infrastructure and facilities, out-going connections, official website and the system of management software
Hosts or cooperates with related units in building plans and solutions to ensure internal information network security.
Manages and develops official website, cooperates with the Library to build e-library system.
Coordinates with related units in building management regulations regarding internal network system and communication via official website of academy. The center also has responsibility to monitor and instruct the units and individuals to implement the regulations.
In charge of facility procurement, giving advisory to the management board and units when importing new software to the academic management. Conducts training courses for the units and individuals of academy when using software.
Provides technology supports to academic management, training and research activities.
Provides maintenance, upgrade and technical supports to the information technology system of academy.
Conducts on-demand workshops and research topics about information and technology.
