According to Directive No.646/TTg dated November 7th, 1994 of Prime Minister on the establishment of about Committee for the Advancement for Women, now has 61 provinces, 43 ministries, central agencies and all levels district, town and ward committee for the Advancement for Women. Prime Minister also issued Decision No.19/2002/QĐ-TTg dated February 19th, 2002 approving the national strategy Committee for the Advancement for Women until 2010

Tasks:
- Manage and run the general affairs of the Board
- Assign tasks to all members of the Board
- Organize to implement plan activities
- Recommend issues related to activities the Advancement of Women
- Supervise and inspect the members of the Board in carrying out assigned tasks
- Assess the results of operations in the content of annual summarizing the work of the Academy.

Tasks:
- Research and plan activities of the Board
- Prepare the content of the meeting of the Board
- Estimate and use of funds to ensure the operation of the Board
- Summarize the results of implementation and make extraordinary reports, periodic reports
(Quarterly, 6 months, year-end party) at the request of superiors
- Coordinate with the education and Propaganda Division and Policy Checking Division to assess, propose reward for Advancement of Women operation achievement
- Coordinate with the Committee for Women organized the activities of the female staff (8/3, 20/10, movement activities…)
- Other duties as assigned by the Chairman
3.Propaganda and education Division

Tasks:
- Organize propaganda and education on gender, guidelines and policies of the Party-State related rights and ligitimate interests of female staff
- Organize of workshops and seminars on gender, gender eqaulity, gender mainstreaming and advocacy scheme moral qualities of people of Vietnamese women during the period of industrialization-modernization of the country for the staff’s Academy
- Organize the training methods and operational skills of the Committee for the Advancement for Women
- Coordinate with the Female Board to hold a seminar between female staff with Party and Government leaders of the Academy related to the rights and obligation
- Other duties as Chairman or Vice Chairman deliveried
4. Policy Inspection Division

Tasks
- Contribute ideas about building mechanisms and policies of the Academy related to gender equality and for the advancement of women
- Check and count on women staff’s Academy
- Monitor and superivise the implementation of regimes and policies for women workers and employees of the Academy: reward, discipline, planning, training, appointment, increase salary before maturity…
- Monitor and inspect the implementation of the Directive 06 of the Minister of Financce and Directive 37 of the Secrerariar of the Party Central Committee on the work of woment in the Academy.
- Other duties as assigned Chairman and Vice Chairman
